Btw, this is the only service (delivery of steady consumable content) which I would be considerung to pay a subscription fee for. The point is, it is consumable, I don't put my own time and effort into it, as I do when cataloging and editing images in C1 or any similar software.

I for one won't miss it.
The reviewers were clearly, routinely, way out of their depth reviewing gear from a wildlife/sport photography point of view (which didn't stop them from posting utterly asinine, ignorant conclusions about the kit - like heavily criticising the Canon 1D-x Mk II because its AF worked as Canon described, rather than how they thought it should work); the anti Canon/pro Sony bias was palpable; the forums were toxic; and the forum moderators were often petty, prejudiced, and far too full of their own imagined self-importance.
In short; it has been put to sleep for a reason - and to be clear, it had started rotting from the inside out, long before Amazon took over.

I run website legit checker site and My opinion, I’m not sure where to go from here, Ken Rockwell isn’t really an option. DP review did such a great job and I have used them countless times over the years. How incredibly short sighted by Amazon, although I can’t say I’m surprised.
