Export metadata
Hello All,
I would like to export my metadata from all my catalog, to analize the data (Apperture, Lens, Focal Lenght... etc). Is it possible to do it? I asked ChatGPT and the soltion that it gave me does not work... or I wasn't able to make it work.

To export EXIF data to Excel for an entire catalog in Capture One, you can follow these steps:
-
Open Capture One and navigate to the Catalog you want to export the EXIF data from.
-
Select all the images in the catalog that you want to export by pressing Ctrl + A (Windows) or Command + A (Mac).
-
Once all the images are selected, go to "File" > "Export Images".
-
In the Export dialog box, select "Metadata" under "Output" on the left-hand side.
-
Under "Format" on the right-hand side, select "CSV".
-
In the CSV options, select the metadata fields you want to export. You can choose from a wide range of fields such as camera make, camera model, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and more.
-
Choose the location where you want to save the CSV file and click "Export".
-
Open the CSV file in Excel or any other spreadsheet software. The EXIF data will be displayed in columns, and you can organize and analyze the data as needed.
Note that the metadata fields available for export may vary depending on the camera model and the version of Capture One you are using.

It's easy to validate that this nonsense reply does not work and is pure BS but it looks good. It it not as easy to verify other BS these bots produce, the more we will be trusting these AI tools there more we will be travelling on a dangerous path...
I don't know a way how to achieve what you want. Maybe you can export all images to e.g. jpg including metadata and use an external tool or scripting.
