Print Sharpening is not viewable without exporting - Canon Pro 1000

What problem do you see this solving?
When printing directly from C1 (not exporting) on my Canon Pro 1000 it is not possible to see the effect of sharpening added via the slider in the print dialog. 

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Today. I print almost daily from within C1 so this affects me constantly.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Yes, I do multiple prints to find the right setting per photograph, but this wastes a lot of paper and ink. And I do not want to do an export for every print, even though export sharpening is viewable in the process recipes. It would speed things up greatly to have that functionality in the print dialogue slider.
