Creating Select folders, from individual Sessions without moving the images.
I used Sessions folders almost exclusively. Occasionally, I'll want to build out a specific group of images to print in a portfolio album. If I use Select folder, C1 wants to actually "move" the images I've selected to a particular Select folder. If I do that, over a number of different sessions, returning those original files back into their session folders will be a ton of work. Can I copy instead? Or maybe there's a better way to create a selection of images across years of sessions?

Probably more than one way. Here's one:
You can create a new, dedicated session for your portfolio and work with albums which reference the images from various locations. Just browse all Capture folders of your sessions in question using the System Folders section of the library tool and add desired images to an album via drag and drop. I would set a keyword after having finally decided which images will make it into your portfolio (or for any other project), so you won't never loose this information even if the album (or the whole dedicated session) faults or you delete it.

Yes! Albums! Man, I forgot all about them. Thank you! Great idea on adding a keyword reminder too.
