Black point error
We are having strange black point errors at the studio for long time and we finally take the time to write a detailed post.
Today, with Capture One Pro 23 (16.2.1.13), we loose a lot of contrast in the blacks when we export in sRGB.
In comparaison, we don't have this problem if we export from Capture One in Adobe98RGB and we convert the file in sRGB in Photoshop in Relative mode with Black Point Compensation (BPC).
Moreover, we discovered that the problem doesn't exist in Capture One Pro 22 (15.4.0.22) and we were able to retain a touch more contrast in comparaison to make the conversion to sRGB in Photoshop.
We are doubtful.

Julien Apruzzese What rendering intent are you using in Capture One 23 vs 22 vs Photoshop? Are they set the same? I'd start by changing the rendering intent settings and see where that gets you. As far as matching between Capture One and Photoshop, you're going from a RAW editor to a pixel editor. There will always be differences there as some transformation takes place under the hood when you import into PS. I'd be more concerned with a difference between 22 and 23.
