How do I factory reset Capture One?
I have had Capture One Pro 20 for a few years now and today bought (not subscription, but paid for in full) Capture One Pro 23. However, I have not used the older version for a few years and, thus, when I opened my new version it has carried a bunch of stuff over, such as in the Settings/Update tab there is an old Sony camera and a Canon camera there, which I don't own anymore and won't be using ever again. There are also other bits, libraries and sessions etc that I don't want.
So, how do I reset Capture One Pro 23 to factory defaults as it if is a brand new user using it for the very first time without it brining in all my old junk and settings and lord knows what else from yesteryear. I basically want a clean install, fresh start.
I'm aware there might be other bits on my iMac running OS Ventura in Library and Preferences etc that I might have to get rid of, but if anybody can tell me how to factory reset Capture one and tell me what folders and files I need to delete from my Mac too that would be super as I don't want to do a clean install of my Mac OS to clean Capture One up.
Cheers.

on a mac: in finder goto menu hold down the option key u see "library" appear..
find all this and delete:
- [User] > Library > Application Support > Capture One
- [User] > Library > Preferences > com.phaseone.[anything]
- [User] > Pictures > Capture One Default Session > Capture One.col
- [User] > Pictures > Capture One Library > Capture One.col
- [HD] > Library > Application Support > Capture One
also- if you want to carry specific settings, styles, keyboard settings, etc you gotta save them first from Library/application support/Capture 1

Sorry to piggyback onto this thread, but do you know what is needed to be done on a Windows PC (11) to achieve the same please?
Many thanks

What is the answer to Kevin's question?

The Windows equivalent of the Mac Application Support etc is to be found in AppData, I believe, but without access to a Windows installation of Capture One I can't do more than point you in that direction.
