Anamorphic Lens support Please
I got two Sirius Anamorphic 1.6 ratio lenses in my setup. Numerous other companies are introducing similar lenses for mirrorless cameras across various brands. This trend is gaining momentum. Not long ago, anamorphic lenses were primarily associated with video usage, but the rapid advancement of mirrorless technology is reshaping this landscape.
At present, I utilize Affinity Photo to perform the de-squeezing process for these lenses. This software costs $30 and offers a one-time purchase option. I selectively unlock specific components and adjust the width exclusively. Additionally, Photoshop includes a built-in feature for this purpose. However, my current workflow requires me to initially de-squeeze images in Affinity, then reimport them into Capture One's catalog, which can be a bit cumbersome.
Now, why hasn't Capture One incorporated this functionality? Is it genuinely a complex task? I kindly request that this feature be considered and integrated into Capture One for the convenience of its users.
