CaptureOne library will not update when creating new files/does not mirror the MacBook hard drive

The Capture One software has a library that mirrors the MacBooks hard drive. When I try to create a new folder or file, C1 does not update to show the new folder unless I quit out of the program and restart it.

This is causing issues with workflow, especially on fast moving shoots.

I can’t seem to find anything in-program to fix this (syncing folders etc.) and wondered if it is anything to do with security, the permissions or access C1 has to the Mac hard drive?

  Are you using a catalog or a session? With a catalog, folders will not appear in the Library tool unless you specifically add them - it doesn't look at your whole hard drive by default.
