Copy settings window behaviour convoluted
I find the way C1 impliments the copy and apply of settings from one image to the next very convoluted.
It is very handy that I can, not intuitively, but reasonably easy copy specific settings from one image to the next using that double arrow botton/tool with each individual tool I use. For example only copying and pasting the Grain, or White Balance.
However, what I find stupid is that, when you open that pop-up box, and select the settings you want to copy, you have to click copy first, which then makes the popup box disappear. Then you have to open it again, and click paste.
If you are copying multiple settings, as I have had to do in the past with Metadata, you not only have to open the dialog box in order to click paste, you also have to reselect the settings you want to paste.
Am I missing something? Why does it have to be so labour intensive to copy and paste settings? LR makes this a LOT easier and time saving using "Sync Settings" if I remember correctly.
From there, a dialog box appears that allows you to select which settings you want to copy from the origin image to the destination image(s). Once it is open, you simply select and paste. If you want to sync settings again, LR remembers your last selection.

When I copy metadata from one image to multiple other images, I select the source image (the one in the bold white box) and the destination image(s). Then I click the double arrow, which brings up the dialog box with the checked metadata, uncheck items I don't want to copy and click "apply."
------
This part is a bit of a rant, just to be transparent: Capture One gives you a bunch of ways to copy and paste that can be frustrating. Pressing option to suppress the dialog box while clicking on the double arrow leaves you with no obvious way to "apply," unless you release the option key before releasing the double arrow, in which case, you get the dialog box, just like clicking on the double arrow by itself. Holding down shift while clicking the double arrow copies and pastes everything to the selected images. You have to remember that it will replace all of the checked items, which is not good when you have items you don't want to copy and paste.
