What the best configuration for c1

Dear all, I currently using c1 on a PC Lenovo with AMD7 and 16Gb 512Gb and integrated graphic card but I think to acquire a Mac for the future. I would like to be sure c1 will work on it for the coming years. This is the model I’m looking for MacBook Air 15” M2 with 8Gb CPU8 GPU10 256Gb SDD Do I need to have 8 or 16Gb of ram as I know that Mac doesn’t use ram as PC. Regards
