What problem do you see this solving?
Although they have improved automatic masks, there is no specific function like in Lightroom to select subject, select background, select sky, select people and select objects, make masks by color or luminance... In Lightroom they are adding many new functions with the help from AI that are making the work much easier. Among them they also have a new improved noise removal tool. I'm very happy with Capture One, but Lightroom is getting a lot better and I wouldn't want to have to switch. That's why I ask you to please add more tools to continue being better than Lightroom.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
At the moment

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Currently I can't find a solution within capture one, but I can find it in many external applications, even the simplest and free ones.
