GENERATING ALL IMAGE PREVIEWS
I AM CONSTANTLY dealing with this issue. Can Capture One generate previews for an entire session when you open it? I am always having to wait image by image for Capture One to generate previews. Select an image and wait. Select an image and wait. Looking for a simple answer for something I think should be automatic. In preferences, I have the image size set to 720px.

Previews are automatically generated in sessions as well as in catalogs when images are added. I suspect what you are experiencing is a delay in the image build-up because the preview size of 720px is extremely small and the previews have to be extrapolated again to the probably higher screen resolution. The recommendation is to adjust the preview size to the screen resolution.
Apart from that, the previews can also be generated on demand (i.e. after changing the preview size in settings):
Select the images in the browser, right-click on the selection and choose something like "Create previews again" (I'm on a different language version, don't know the exact English description) in the context menu.0 -
The English version says "regenerate previews".
And Okular is right - it is counterproductive to have such a small preview size, as it is too small to be displayed at zoom to fit so Capture One has to refer to the raw file every time.

The preview regeneration appears ineffective, as it continuously regenerates with each view change.

Ok, thank you, I set it :)
