Make black background on panorama stitches transparent/editable when applying adjustments
What problem do you see this solving?
When applying clarity, saturation, contrast, etc., adjustments the black background creates a halo on the image stitched. this is really annoying and poorly implemented.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
every time I apply these and other adjustments. So, I apply them minimally, then 'roundtrip' to Adobe PS 25 where I use generative fill to eliminate the black background. Then it goes back to C1. This is a wasted step.
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Doing the aforementioned creates another intermediate file that is large. I use a Phase One IQ4 - the TIF and DNG files generated are huge, around 900mb. Dealing with a mess of these files is a pain in the neck, when completed raw editing could be done in C1 if the black margin did not interfere.
