Session, Express version for Windows

Just find out about Capture One via a new Fuji camera that I purchased.

I downloaded and installed the latest free Express Version.

I am trying to follow online tutorials to learn how to use it, but I don't see anywhere where I can create / open a new session.

Is the Express Version not able to create new session, limited to only using Catalogs ?

Please Help.

I was hoping to finally find a workflow that didn't required importing anything into a catalog.

  yep, default catalog only with express
