Printing !
Hello,
My monitor BenQ 2700 is calibrated with a Datacolor probe. My printer is an Epson Ecotank 7750.
I have a probe to calibrate my printer, but I did not get satisfactory results with an old printer. I'll have to redo tests with this system and this other printer.
In the meantime, to get correct prints on a chosen photo paper, I use Datacolor's ICM and disable the printer's colour settings. I also have to duplicate a variant of the photo and add 500 of yellow, 3 of magenta and 1 of exposure to it. This is a good adjustment for all my photos. After that I may have to fine-tune.
Is it possible to have a function that would allow these systematic values and possibly others (contrast and saturation) to be added to the existing settings for a photo to be printed?
Would it also be possible to have several memorised series of adjustment values to add to a variant to be printed, depending on the paper used?
Or would it be possible to have a function that duplicates an ICM and modifies certain values equivalent to the settings to be obtained? (It is not possible to modify the values of an ICM in a text editor).

I wanted to ask why don't you use the perspective ICC profile to the paper you are using? I ask because I found that using the ICC profiles work best for me. I have an Epson 3880 and use the perspective ICC profiles from what ever paper I am using at the time. Over time I have come to find that using the icc profile in C1 to edit it to get ready to print. I then export it as full size PSD and I use Epson's print layout app on my computer. That has gotten me to have the exact results I want color wise. I feel I never got the best results printing directly from C1.... something was always off color wise and I would have to waste more sheets than usual. I am on a 27" intel iMac and use i1 Display plus from x-rite. Not the same monitor or monitor color correction device but similar workflows is why I'm explaining all this too.
