Layers - one command in a new layer for Copy another layer and invert it.

What problem do you see this solving?
It will just speed things up if one can just copy a layer to a new layer and invert it with one command or click. It turns a two-step process into a one-step process.Just add a command that says "copy layer from _____ and invert it."

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Since I use layers, this would speed up my workflow
