Make Grain apply to layers

What problem do you see this solving?
Grain is applied to the main layer only, but cannot be only applied to a distinct layer

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Now.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
Make it work with separate layers.
