New sessions created in wrong locations
Hey,
Every now and then when I make a new session, instead of creating the new session folder inside my default location ("Pictures" folder in MacOS), Capture One decides for some reason to create the new session inside one of my existing session folders. In other words C1 changes the default location of a new session on its own. This is very annoying and makes keeping track of my projects difficult. I have to manually move the sessions back to their supposed location and quit C1 in between. This has been going on for some time. I found someone had else the same issue and asked for help here but no-one had commented. Any help, please?
Best,
Jori

Mine has been doing this for years and it is incredibly frustrating. I thought I was alone on this! No idea how to rectify

This seems to be more difficult to explain than I thought.
I'll try to explain it like this:
Here's the location where I hope every single new session would be created:
Location: /Users/MyUsername/Pictures
This works most of the time,
BUT every now an then the "New Session" window switches the default location ON ITS OWN like this:
Location: /Users/MyUsername/Pictures/RandomCaptureOneSession
And then it will stay like this until I pay attention enough to change the new session location to Pictures again. Then it will work for a while and again switch up on its own at some point.
So the indication is not the problem. It will always DISPLAY the location correctly but if I don't double check the session location it will be created inside wrong subfolder. Got it?0
