Perhaps due to lens correction cropping? The Lens Correction tool automatically crops severely distorted areas. You can disable it in the Lens Correction tool.

That's what I tried, and I didn't see a change. Also even if that were the case, I didn't change my lens or focal length (it was a 2.5 second burst @ 20fps) to warrant a change in that regard.

There are other corrections, like automatic rotation. Try resetting everything.

Ok, turns out it is the Lens Correction "Distortion" that's the issue. It doesn't refresh the resolution value until you click away and back onto the image so it didn't look like it was changing anything.

What doesn't make sense to me is the fact that nothing changed with my lens as I shot the sequence. Evidently there are other factors that go into the distortion correction than what I'd expect (i.e. lens model, focal length metadata).

Here's a screen capture of what I'm seeing while cycling through the shots. This set was reimported and the only thing changed from default was to turn off "Hide Distorted Areas".

Focus distance is a major parameter: not only field of view can change (most visible in videos as breathing), but distortions as well (glass is moving internally, so image HAS to be different). At least they were quite minimal, few pixels here and there.

    Good to know.

Yes, it's not that important in the scheme of things... more just a curiosity.

Is the "focus distance" parameter exposed anywhere in C1's interface or is it hidden?
