Combining Masks

What problem do you see this solving?
It would improve editing when masks can be combined e.g. using set operations like in Darktable.

Set operations:

1. Union: the percentages are added, sums over 100 are reduced to 100.
2. Intersection: with different percentages, one should be able to decide whether the respective largest value is used, the values ​​are added together or there is an excellent mask whose values ​​are used.
3. Difference

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I can edit common qualities instead doeing taht in each mask.
