We need more info. Are you on Mac or Windows? What exactly happens? Can you pinpoint a change in hardware/software that may have prompted this change?

In any case, a great starting point for this kind of weird behavior is to strip back to the essentials. Create a new user, uninstall/reinstall Capture One on that user, and see if anything changes.

If you're on Windows, it can often be caused by background software or required driver updates. Have you also ensured that you are meeting the system requirements?

    Hi Jack,

I have already raised a case (request 217241).

We need more info. Are you on Mac or Windows? What exactly happens? Can you pinpoint a change in hardware/software that may have prompted this change?

    • Windows. Mac version works fine
    • most of the time does not start, or stalls during import, or stalls during export, or the UI stops responding
    • not any changes
    • reproduceable on the PC a friend of mine

To our mind, C1 stops working with 16.3. 16.2 works.

Create a new user, uninstall/reinstall Capture One on that user, and see if anything changes.

Following the advice of the support, we reseted preferences. Did no change a thing

If you're on Windows, it can often be caused by background software or required driver updates. Have you also ensured that you are meeting the system requirements?

Yes. Everything up to date. AND version 16.2 works fine.

    It's a Razer Blade 15 with RTX 2080, 64GB RAM and i7-10875H.

There is probably hundreds of logs submitted with my mail/name. This is a BIG issue because I am loosing time AND my customers are waiting.

It just crashed on startup. I can provide you the fresh log.

Behaviour reproduceable on 2 different PCs

    Cheers

If it works on 16.2 and it is time/professionally critical, then I would advise you to use that version for now. Unless there's something specific in 16.3 that you need?

Resetting the preferences is nowhere near as extensive as the steps suggested. Give it a try.

Providing logs is no good here – leave that to the support teams.

Again, if you have customers waiting, use 16.2 which can be downloaded here: https://www.captureone.com/en/account/download (scroll down)

If it is reproducible on 2 machines, then please provide the support team with the full logs from both machines. Then we really do have an issue where we need to try and replicate it in-house and work on a fix.

    ok.

Logs have been provided though the support case.

Actually I was wondering if others also have such issues. We are already 2 photographers here.

    Cheers
