Very buggy

Greetings
 16.x and especially the latest update is very buggy to me on windows. One major bug is that the magic brush is stuck at calculating all the time forcing me to close the program from the task manager. This happens even more frequently when working on jpg compare to raw. I wan to roll back to the previous version which was somewhat more stable but i 'm not sure if the catalogue will open with the previous 16.x version.
One other major issue is that the preview of images when you are zoomed out appear with stripes which are gone when you zoom in abit but re appear when you are zoomed out
