Problems with panning around an image using the trackpad (Mac)

For some reason, when I try to pan around an image using the trackpad on my Mac, Capture One has started zooming rather than panning. It makes no difference what tool is selected.

In Apple Photos, Preview, Photoshop and Pixelmator Pro panning (using two fingers on the trackpad) works as expected, so I assume the problem isn't with the system settings.

Any suggestions what's going on?

(MacBook Pro M1 Max, macOS 14.5, Capture One 16.4.2.1.)

    I know you don't have a scroll wheel, but have you tried changing this setting in Capture One settings?
