Button: Edit selected images
The function Edit selected images synchronously does not work. I have activated the button and only the Primary Variant is changed.
It seems that this has been a bug for a long time - or am I doing it wrong?

It's not a bug, and you are actually doing it wrong.
If you have the Edit All button switched on...
- a few things can be changed on multiple images at once - for example pressing 3 on the keyboard will give 3 stars to all the selected images. Similarly you can add a keyword to multiple images.
- most things cannot be changed that way on multiple images - for instance if you drag the exposure slider to +1.5 you only get an extra 1.5 EV on the primary image. But if you then copy the exposure adjustment you can paste it to all the other selected images at once. (This is to prevent too great a load on processing power, I think. if you drag the slider slowly up, the image is gradually brightened. Doing that in real time for a large number of selected images is a lot of processing. But copying the 1.5 you have stopped at to all of them rather than gradually brightening them all is much less of a drain on the system.)
HOWEVER...
- If you select multiple images you can adjust the exposure of all of them at the same time, using Speed Edit. For Exposure the default Speed Edit key is Q. Hold down the Q key and drag with the mouse/trackpad or use the arrow keys, and you can adjust the exposure for multiple images at once.
- Note that Speed Edit is relative. If you adjust the Kelvin value on one of the images from 5000 to 5500 using speed edit, all the selected images will go up by 500 - so an image that started at 4750 will end up at 5250. Whereas using the copy and paste method, all the images will end up at 5500.
Hope that makes sense!

many Thanks
I thought that the option refers to all changes. Of course it makes sense in terms of performance.
