You should not expect support for beta releases of new operating system versions.

I wasn't, I was hoping someone else had the same issue and found a solution.

Sequoia is still in beta. Don't expect Capture One to run perfectly on beta OS releases.

Yeah I'm on Sony too CRV

Walter Rowe I wouldn't say I was expecting it to be straightforward, I was more wondering if someone had found a workaround to get it working.

Will Stedman I found a "okish" workaround...

Connect your camera via access point wireless. I just wanted to let you know this works for me in the studio. Shots take a few seconds to come through, but at least it's working. As soon as I use USB mode from the camera, tether stops working and camera dissapears from  the menu.

CRV I found the same solution, but the waiting times are too long. So for now I switched to a windows laptop...

The work around is don't upgrade a production machine to a beta operating system. That's a risk not worth taking.

CRV Thanks for that, I'll give it a go, I've used the wireless access point before but with the A7RV the files are so huge even on the smallest Jpeg that's viewable they take a little while to transfer over. Thankfully we have another machine that's not updated that I can use, it just means I now need to take two laptops with me to a shoot.

I'm sure in an update soon it'll all be sorted, I was purely just hoping for a solution that's within a simple setting.

I encountered similar problems with the Canon 5R. I kindly request that the Capture One team provides support for this camera soon. Thank you very much for your assistance.

If you mean the Canon R5, this has been supported since Capture One 20 (release 13.1.2).

I experienced the same problem with the same individual in this post. I intend to reiterate this to ensure that the team receives more attention in the future.

Laptop: Macbook M3 Max Pro with MacOS Sequoia. macOS 15.1
Capture One version. Build 16.4.3.15 (279422e)

This is a user forum. Make sure you submit a support case with these same details so they get to developers.
