I figured it out. For my issue at least. “When Ready” under Auto Select New Capture is not currently working for me. “Immediately” is working though.

Same problem Ray. Images not showing up and have to manually select image just taken.

Canon EOS R. Macstudio Sonoma 14.5 and latest CaptureOne as well.

Any solutions CaptureOne? this defeats the purpose of tethering- please help.

    Same issue yesterday, M3X Mac with a Sony A7R5, using C1 16.4.4

Wiping settings, and re-installing didn't fix it.

Had to downgrade to C1 16.4.3 in order to make Auto Select New Capture work again, but that's hardly ideal on an advertising shoot with limited time to get complex lighting set up.

Exact same issue since C1 16.4.4.24 on MB M2. I noticed switching to 'immediately' instead of 'When Ready' does function.

Very annoying for a such a core function to suddenly not work anymore.

The issue was not there anymore for the last month up until the last update. The update that should have fixed this issue.

Today CaptureOne crashed and unfortunately it is back again!!!!

PLEASE C1 fix this for real!

Small update. Apparently after such a crash something in the current catalog is corrupted causing this issue. A work around is to make a new catalog from where to shoot.

Problem with this is that you have to redo all your settings in the new catalog :(

    Pfff.... this is truly annoying.

When you would have read the entire thread it shows more than one person has tried changing software settings as well as restarting (in all its forms) and making sure using the latest versions.

Not sure what you exactly mean with 'automatically advance'? However, the options in 'Camera' settings for 'Auto select new capture' are all tried in various forms but did not do the trick.

In the previous version of C1 apparently this issue was there and it is allegedly solved in the latest version 16.4.5.29. Unfortunately I found out it is not solved.

A workaround now is to make a new catalogue and start again. This is annoying, since it means the settings of previous shoots are lost. If this is something that remains it means I need to adjust my way of working into making a separate catalogue for each individual shoot. Something I would rather not do....

BTW... not sure why you have added that link to some Indian website....
