After using the loyalty program I don’t see the value

I’ve been getting the ads for the next version but I haven’t seen the value so far. Affinity Suite has been pumping out great updates to their perpetual license in the last year but Capture One has been holding back updates for the perpetual license. 

I already don’t use Capture One nearly as much as Affinity Photo and now the value has decreased even more as they don’t deliver the updates on a regular basis to me. Why would I pay more with service like that and features I use less?
