Files from SonyA7RIII not showing up for import
Not really a beginner because I have been using Capture One for several years but tis seems like a kind of beginner problem. I am still running Capture One 20 (13.1.1.24). I recently purchased a new Sony A7RIII to replace my old A7RII and for some reason Capture One will not recognize my ARW images from this camera. I shot one session of jpegs and these show up when I go to import but, whenever I shoot ARW images, with the new camera, they just do not show up. I've taken the same memory card and accessed the images through On One Photo Raw , so I know they are there on the card but, when I try to import them with Capture One it is as if they do not exist on the memory card. Anyone else had this problem and is there a solution?

I would expect files from the A7R III to be OK. Support for the camera was added in Capture One 10.2.1 according to the list published here.
However, the A7R IIIa is shown as only supported from version 21 (14.2.0). Can you confirm you have the A7R III and not the A7R IIIa?

Arrgh! no, it is the R7IIIa that I have. Silly me I thought that ARW files would be the same just like jpeg files are basically the same. Lesson learned and back to On One Raw I guess. SO I can still use Capture One for files from my a6000 and my A7RII but need a different workflow for my A7RIIIA what a PITA.
