Newbie question on keywords
Hi!
I'm still evaluating taking Capture one into use, and my main concern is how to manage my library (coming from Aperture, on a Mac). I'm testing on a small subset (one year of photos) of my original raws rather then attempting an import of the Aperture Library. The use is handling my personal / family photo's, so no professional use.
I started by using Albums to organize the pictures, and this seems pretty straight forward. It's also nice that they can be reordered. I'm not sure how that would scale to having hundreds of albums though, and after some thinking I started to assume keywords would actually be a far better approach to how we generally end up searching for images (either time frame or something where multiple keywords would work better).
I watched a video on setting keywords, and somehow it seems to me that the default workspace does not work in a similar way. When I am in the Library view the main part of the application is divided in two parts, I guess the top is the "Viewer" and the bottom is the "Browser"?
- Selecting a bunch of pictures in the browser also brings them to the viewer
- however only the first one is selected in the viewer
- Selecting keywords on the left toolbar allows setting keywords
- But they are only applied to the single selected image in the "Viewer"
Basically I did not find a way to apply a keyword to a bunch of images...
I hope this is not a totally stupid question 😄

Can you check if the "edit primary/selected" button is on?
