How to apply adjustments to many photos at once ?

I cannot figure out how to apply adjustments to many photos at once. I make a set of adjustments and then I want to apply them to say 100 photos in the same catalogue. But it does not work somehow - I cannot really select all of of them and the adjustments seem to be applied on just one photo. It is so easy in Aperture or Lightroom (you select any number of photos you like and apply by one click) - why not in Capture One ? Or am I missing something ?

  There is a toggle that allows you to choose whether you want to process all images in a selected set or just the one highlighted as the current "primary" variant.
  
  In the Edit menu the toggle is "Edit all selected variants"
  
  There is a keyboard short cut for it.
  
  Also an icon that looks like 3 overlapped squares in the customizable Toolbar.
