Strategy for 2 Computers

I wish to create a catalog on a Desktop and transfer it to laptop. I will use laptop while traveling and then will sync my work back to Desktop.

Desktop (Win 10 Pro,C1 Pro 9.2)
-Imported images onto external drive M:
-Catalog is on internal SSD E:
Laptop (Win 7 Pro,C1 Pro 9.2)
-Plan:
1. copy entire catalog from Desktop E: to Laptop D:(internal SSD)
2. open catalog on laptop
3. rate & process images images
4. copy catalog from Laptop D: to Desktop E: overwriting original file.
5. Final tweaks and Print from Desktop

  It CAN work but...
  
  dd you need and wont work with "old" photos on travel? If not, then I think the better way is to work on your laptop with Session(s).

  Thanks Robert. Yes I need to work on old photos on laptop.
  So you are saying you don't see any reason the plan I outlined will not work?

  Hello John,
  
  if you want to edit your old photos on your laptop then you need to copy between your 2computers always the complete catalog directory and not only this one catalog-file *.cocatalogdb.
