Reference catalog auto update

I have create a reference catalog. Added new images to the project folder after the initial catalog file import.
Can the CaptureOne 9 automatically watch the project folder and update the catalog when new images are added or deleted to the project folder via the OSX finder?

That would be cool but I don't think it can. Wait for others to reply, though, I may be wrong.

No.And its not recommended to add/ remove files in any Catalog-Folders without C1.

No, CO doesn't do it automatically.

Simply navigate to your folder in 'Library' -'Folders' and choose 'Synchronize Folder...' from menu or pop-up-menu. It will give you the options to
- add (n) new images in this folder,
- add (n) new images in this folder and it's known subdirectories,
- open the importer to select the images to be added,
- remove (n) missing images (from catalog).

I have chosen not to have all images in my catalog. So I would be very disappointed if CO would add them automatically.

BTW, if you only want to monitor a single folder for new images, you can actually define it as 'Hot Folder'.
