Workflow between two computers
Hi everybody, C1 pro 8 newbie here 😊
I just downloaded the trial version because I want to get rid of my lightroom dependance.
I'm not a professional photographer but an amateur, still I have two computers and I want them to "work" on the same photos. All of them.
What I want to achieve is having all photos somewhere, read all data and metadata with C1 on both desktop and laptop; you know, being at home the desktop might be used by wife or daughter ... but there's still my laptop 😊
I read about Sessions and Catalogs but I'm here for asking you what might be the best practice based on your direct
experience.
P.S.: windows 8.1 on both computers

I use catalogs and store catalogs and image files on a portable HD which I can plug in any of my computers. Use a USB-3 or Thunderbolt connection and a reasonably fast HD. Very handy arrangement for both editing and back-up. 0 -
