Great Feature: Adjust tool values with mouse wheel
I have seen here and there (video) users setting explicit numerical values by typing in the keyboard. That is useful if you know exactly the value to be used.
You can change values with the mouse by dragging the sliders square or click at a point in the sliders scale.
You can change values with the keyboard after having clicked into the value box, i.e. arrow up / down.
But the feature I use the most and with great pleasure is to just hover over a tool (e.g. contrast) and change the value by scrolling your mouse wheel (if you have something like that 😊) by some predefined increments.
You don't have to hit or click into the box or hit the sliders' square, just hover anyhwere over the slider or value box and scroll. easy peasy fast 😄

I agree, it's one of my favourite features in Capture One.
I've got so used to using it, I absent mindedly try to do it with other software and get very disappointed when it doesn't work!0 -
I agree it's a great tool!
I don't use a mouse, i use a shuttlepro V2 and the jog to adjust them in very fine increments, and for more rough adjustment i use the scroll on my Slimblade trackball (which as a scroll similar to that a input controller when you grade)0 -
I'm not so wild about that. I do use the trackpad (mac) to scroll the panels/tools (not uses to proper terminology, coming from Aperture/LR). I have often changed the value of a slider, just because the pointer was on the wrong place when I wanted to scroll.
Is there a way to switch it off?

Probably in the mouse device control panel (or how it is called) there should be an option to deactivate the wheel 😉
Disabling a great feature just because LR/Aperture doesn't have it... hhmm
But I know what you mean, it is hard to get (wrongly:-)) learned motions out of your brain... 😄

I don't think you can deactivate it C1. Trying to use it instead of avoiding it should do the trick with unintentional usage...
