    Thanks for using CO!

If the lens is auto-detected, CO will only apply automatic distortion correction, if the distortion of the lens at the current focal length is over 1.5%.
Lightness and sharpness fall-off will never be auto-applied.

The noise/detail etc slider are always at 50, but underneath the values are hand-tweaked to the specific camera at the specific iso. The slider is left at 50 to give the user maximum adjustment latitude.

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

Can i just clarify what i think i now understand:

Although distortion correction is only applied automatically if distortion is over 1.5%, am i right in assuming that setting the distortion slider myself to 100% is the way to remove all distortion, and in theory the same is true for any supported RAW image, from any camera/lens, at any focal length if i want all the distortion removed from that image?

P.s just for information, my lens is a Sony 50mm. I don't think there's much distortion from it, but i just want to understand the distortion slider for when i use other cameras and lenses.

    Thanks
