I need to blur some handwriting...
I have a couple signing the wedding register and I need to blur the ages column in the register. I have masked it but can't see a way to discretely blur the ages of the couple. Any ideas?

There isn't a blur function in Capture One. This is probably best done in something like Photoshop or Affinity Photo.

yes, or you might get a better looking result with Gaussian blur.

Another idea might be to use Capture One's "clone" or "heal" tool.
You can clone a blank peace of the page over a digit or even clone a digit... Have fun making up their new ages!1 -

The addition of the 'negative clarity' effect seems to stop at two layers?
Maybe with a REAL blur tool... who knows 😉0 -

Wow. still no blur tool. Useless for blurring number plates of cars. I can fix everything else... but not the simple tasks. annoying.
