chromatic aberration and purple fringing
I am a long time user of capture one and love lots of the features .
One of the tools that often left me puzzled is the Lens correction tool and the CA issue in particular.
Some of the high-end lenses have CA and I can't seam to be a able to remove it in C1P. Lightroom does it so much better, any suggestions?
here is a screenshot of C1P AT 100% AND CAMERA RAW. CAMERA RAW CA IS GONE.

have you tried the "analyse" feature of the CA tool ? I have seen over the years that sometimes the lens profile introduces CA instead of removing it or making it worse, the analyse function should take care of this. in genera I think adobe software handles weird CA better. 0 -

Yes I did and didn't do much more0 -
I think it is not CA but fringing, two phenomena that look similar. The fringing is due to the strong contrast between the backlit window and the person's dark hair.
You could try the Purple Fringing tool, but in Capture One this might not work as it is not purple but blue fringing in your case. Let us know if you like.0 -
it is already 100%
the only option would be to sample the color and desaturate. not the best solution0 -

No, not the best solution but the only one I can think of as well.0 -
What does the histogram look like?
Original and as currently adjusted?0 -
I second this. Lightroom has a much better implementation for purple fringe removal and CA. But On1 is even better. Phase One needs to copy it, because regrettably Capture One's version is rather inadequate and the workarounds take time and come with side effects.

I still have problem with this. Capture one needs to fick this. Lightroom is much better because you can choose what colors that should be affected. Is this coming Capture one?
