"Edit with..." ICC profile question
When selecting "Edit in..." for an image there is an ICC profile string. No matter what I put in (Embedded from camera, proPhoto, etc) photoshop complains that the resulting TIFF is Adobe 1998. I then convert to my working space (proPhoto) and all seems well, but exported TIFFs all seem to have Adobe 1998 as the embedded ICC profile no matter what is indicated in the dialog.
I've verified that the RAW file prior to export to TIFF is proPhoto.
How may I coax C1 to either pay attention to the camera profile or the dialog string entry?
Thanks again!

A raw file in a standard color space? If it's really 'raw', it should be device specific.
I can do 'Export' and 'Edit With' from CO with ProPhoto/ROMM and Camera Profile and the color space of the exported image is correct. (I'm on OSX 10.11.6 / C1 10.0.0.193, too. Using PS CS6 and Affinity Photo 1.5.)
Do you use exiftool or something similar? If yes, what does it say about the profile of CO's tif?

If I export a tiff, the profile is correct. The embedded color profile is proPhoto.
If I select "Edit in..", the color profile to PS is Adobe 1998 regardless of what's in the "Edit in..." dialog.
If I tell PS to not change the colorspace to my working space during the import process, this in the line from the resulting tiff sent to PS:
<photoshop:ICCProfile>Adobe RGB (1998)</photoshop:ICCProfile>
...and this is true for whatever colorspace I select in the "Edit in..." dialog.
Could there be a preference or plist stuck somewhere that I need to clear out? Perhaps a clean install? Dunno.0 -

This is the exif information of a file that is freshly created with 'Edit With' without saving from PS? There shouldn't be a 'photoshop' tag. Has the raw file been opened with Camera Raw / PS before using CO? If this is in the raw file, CO may pass it on during 'Edit With'. Or are you using XMP data? I know Camera Raw can save settings to XMP. But I cannot tell much about it. Camera Raw and XMP have never been part of my workflow.
You can remove all PS exif tags with exiftool:
exiftool -photoshop:all= </path/to/your/image.tif>
