Warning Symbol Meaning When Importing Aperture Libraries
When I import an Aperture Library into Capture One 10, A triangular symbol with an exclamation point appears to the right of the library folder and all of its sub-folders in the Folders section of the Library side bar. All the images in this Aperture Library inside Capture One appear fine and all are online.
What does this warning symbol mean? How can I find out what is wrong so I can correct the problem? Or, is it the case that any imported Aperture Library will show this warning symbol and I should ignore it? But if that is the case, why have it there at all?
My reason for importing the Aperture Library is to consolidate my images within one software system, using Capture One essentially as a DAM for older images and to maintain access once Aperture becomes non-functional (which I assume will happen someday).

Stephen,
As this is a Mac specific question you might have more replies putting it in the Mac section of the forum - it seems to get greater traffic and many regualr posters are there having undertaken the same journey you propose.

Thanks, Grant. I'll re-post it there, although I thought this was a general, not Mac specific, thing. Let's see if I get some help.

Hi Stephen,
If it's Aperture then it's Mac specific, at least in theory. Import programs tend to be at least somewhat specific to the original application in that case, although of course LightRoom could be either platform.
But really the point is that the people who may have some information for you are very likely to be active in the Mac posts section and maybe not so active in this section.
