Export/process photos to the source folder

Hi,
I'd like to save the processed photos into the same folder as the raw files; I'm working on a Mac in catalog mode.
The Output location tool does not offer a "same as source" option; it asks every time to to pick the folder manually.
Is there a simpler way to do it?
