C1 v10 (WIN) + OneDrive - any user feedback?
Hi,
I'd like to automate my cloud sync workflow by putting my catalog and originals files inside my local OneDrive folder on my computer.
This way I can keep my fast local SSD storage and immediately start syncing my files to my online OneDrive account.
Sounds easy enough, but I would like to check if anyone is using this set-up and has run into problem (or not)?
Thanks

You should have no trouble doing what you suggest - all my originals are in my OneDrive folder on my SSD syncing with cloud. Note though it is syncing not backing up - if you delete a file in the OneDrive folder it will be deleted in the cloud so you will not be able to recover it from there. 0 -
I'd previously used a similar workflow with Dropbox to ensure the entire job was delivered.
One thing to consider, in the event that you're using EIP files- any changes to adjustments you've made to a file will mark the EIP as "modified" and the sync service will resynchronize the whole file (an EIP contains the original file, .cos adjustment file, LCC and any custom ICC profiles). This can cause a lot of bandwidth overhead, especially if you are making batch adjustments at the end-of-day. When not using EIPs, only .cos files are updated when an adjustment is made on an image so only those are resynchronized. An EIP can be upwards of 40MB (depending on the raw file size) while a .cos is merely a few KB.0
