Best Way to Open Multiple Images in Photoshop from Capture 1
Hello Everyone,
A feature I miss from Lightroom is to ability to open multiple images as layers in Photoshop for focus stacking. Even though I use a tilt shift lens for product photography, focus stacking is better is some cases.
Is there any quicker way than opening the images individually in to Photoshop and then manually adding the images to one Photoshop file in layers.
I am open to any and all suggestions.
Roger

Yes there is a quicker way, a couple more steps than Lightroom but still pretty quick.
In Capture One don't use the 'Edit with' or 'Open with' options, instead simply process out all of the files you want to stack as tiif/jpg, you can use the export > variant option or a process recipe and you can put the files in where ever you'd like. Once your files are processed open Photoshop and go to File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack... then click Browse in the dialog box and navigate to and select your processed files. Click Ok and they will load as layers.1 -
Thank you very much. That will be quicker.
Hopefully, this operation will be streamlined in the future.
Have a great Sunday,
