Bug on DNG files
Hello,
Maybe there is a bug for DNG files for the rating. Indeed, if I apply 1 or 2 or 3 stars on a photo, they disappear if I select the photo again later. This only happens on DNG files and the problem is only on the notation.
It's really very annoying because I'm losing my entire rating system!
Does anyone have the same problem and has it been solved?
Thank you very much for your help!
Laurence

Have these DNG files been rated with other software too? Do they have .XMP sidecar files with them? What setting is there in Preferences: Image>Metadata>Auto sync sidecar XMP? It is possible that Capture One is obediently honouring your setting for that and changing the rating back to match what is set in the XMP files. If that setting is not on None, try changing it to None and see whether that solves the problem.

Rating on DNG files works as aspected here. As Ian mentioned, what are your sync settings? 0 -
