Adjusting Image File Location References- C1 12 Catalog
I am starting to switch over from LR Classic CC. I have 30k+ images stored in a few hundred folders within the LR structure, so I just started by taking the folder of images in LR starting 01/01/18-> current and then exporting them as an LR catalog. What I hadn't realized was that the image folders and images would also be exported (duplicated) with that exported catalog.
Having created the Capture One Pro 12 Catalog using that LR Catalog, I now have the Capture One 12 Pro Catalog referencing the duplicate image folder/files in the exported LR folder. I don't want that (duplicate files), I want to somehow get the new Capture One Pro 12 catalog referencing the original image folders which are in the LR Classic CC file system. I plan to run both LR and C1 concurrently for a while as I get acclimated.
What is the best way to do this? I looked in the online help, but don't find anything about this. Should I go to the Capture One Pro 12 Library file structure and go down folder-by-folder to right-click on "Locate" the folders and point to the desired (LR Classic CC file structure) image folders? Will this do what I want?
If I can get this squared away, I plan to gradually do the conversion in additional segments as time permits. Will I have to repeat this process each time?

Hummm. I am pretty sure you can export a catalog in LR that does not duplicate images. Then your images in the c1 catalogue will be pointing to the originals. Or you could important the original LR catalog. 0
