Macbook Pro 2018 screen calibration
Hi everyone.
I'm running C1-12 on a Macbook Pro 2018. For printing I export to my ancient MAC Pro desktop running Yosemite and Photoshop CS5. The desktop machine is quite nicely calibrated for screen and prints but the files from the laptop don't match well. I've now invested in an X-Rite iDisplay/iProfiler.
Can anybody help with advise on the best settings to use for the laptop?
The desktop screen is calibrated for 5500K.

Not a colour expert here, and slightly colour blind, but...
What's the mac pro display? Is 5500K native or your prerogative?
WLED IPS displays (like the macbook) are all natively in the ballpark of 6500K, so you wouldn't want to deviate from that for maximum colour range and accuracy. Either leave "native" or "6500K". That's the temperature/colour bias of the LED backlight, which is going to be 'neutralised' by the calibration.
What you should certainly try to match is the white point / brightness output of the screen.0
