    Regarding your sharpening comments..

Capture One assumes use of the 3-step sharpening workflow proposed by Bruce Fraser about 15 years ago. Using that workflow "output" sharpening will be different depending upon media (screen or print) and size. In capture one the values for print and screen are not the same (unless you make them that way). Someone please correct me if I have that wrong.

That workflow doesn't suit me very well. For that reason I disable output sharpening, relying on the regular sharpening tools. If I am going to prepare an image for print and screen I'll use two variants, each sharpened to taste before outputting the image.

Yes, Capture One uses three step sharpening. But what I meant in my feature request is this: In the Process Recipe there is an output sharpening tab under adjustments that has three options amount, viewing distance and threshold. The Proofing setting allows you to visualize how this will look. If you are outputting a file for another application to print, this is useful.
However the Print dialog within Capture One itself also has sharpening setting. In this case it only has an amount. What I am asking for is a way for the proofing view to show the effects of this setting.

i am actually pretty happy with the features....
but i do think that the entire application needs to be re-written and code streamlined...i dont understand why the most advanced color tech has to be so far behind pretty much everyone in terms of speed....previews, adjustments, general interface....
bring C1 to the iPad pro with tethering....hasselblad can do it (and it is crazy fast and great), LR can do it, i dont need full cloud implementation, just local iPad storage and ability to transfer the session to desktop....
