This is not a known issue. Which platform are you on?

    Hello Everyone,

    Same problem here.

It is showing the server that is the session I am currently working in.

    Windows 10 64 Pro with a Nikon D850.

    Y'all have a great day.

It may not be a know issue to Phase One but it is an issue with me.

This issue exists but is hard to reproduce.

A hard reset of the iOS app and sometimes the C1 app (basically cycling the web server) will get you back up to speed.

Sometimes I have to switch 'Capture' folder. Sometimes I have to run my own network. Sometimes I have to pray to God it works. Your mileage may vary.

Once you catch it happening again, try and reproduce the bug or at least do a screen capture to highlight the fuck up.

    Hello Everyone,

For anyone that encounters the same problem, below is what happened and how I fixed it.

The session (Server) was visible but could not go any farther. I checked Webroot, my anti-virus software, and everything else I could find. Long story short, Windows Defender was running and I did not know it. As mentioned above, Webroot is my anti-virus software so I keep Defender off. Have no idea how it became active but amazing what happened when I shut it down.

Y'all have a great evening, morning, afternoon or hope you are sleeping well.

    Having this exact same problem.

Everything is set up correctly. Happens with both web and mobile connections. Sees the session folder and syncs but no images in folder. Tried switching folders and nothing solves it. Tried shutting everything down and reopening. Again, nothing working. Looking awfully stupid on set here not being able to get capture pilot to work.

    Macbook pro late 2017
    OSX 10.12.6
    c1pro 11.1.1
current version of capture pilot on ipad air2. But as I said, same issue when connecting via web.

    Any thoughts?

@johny5, have you changed your Capture folder from default to another one?

    Hi All,

I bought the Camera Control app today and had a devil of a time getting it to work. I kept getting the server to appear on the mobile device, but would when I clicked the server the connection would timeout and the "server unavailable" message would appear. I was about to give up and contact tech support when the thought came to me that perhaps it was a security issue. I have a MBP running OS X 10.12.6.

Upon checking System Preferences, Security & Privacy, Firewall, Firewall Options - I found that my firewall settings prohibited all incoming connections including file sharing. Dialing back the firewall to enable file sharing did the trick and the app works fine. Which in hindsight makes sense to me that the laptop must share files with an external device. I've not found any troubleshooting advice related to firewalls.

    Pray this helps someone else,

I’ve had that issue, but along with that I’ve had an issue where images stop coming in and the only way to get them to start again is to start capturing to a new folder.

I’ve had so many issues with Capture Pilot that I’ve come to the point of running external monitors mirroring the capture display.

I’ve never really felt that any actual support cases for CP is taken seriously, even though for most commercial photographers CP is a valuable resource.

I've hat the same issue. Here's what I'm running:

    Hardware: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017), 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7, 6 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

Software: Mojave 10.14.6, Capture One 20

Running Capture One 20 I was able to launch capture pilot and view it in browser, however, only the first 4 of 28 files in my capture folder were showing up in browser.

I always keep the previous one or two versions of programs essential for work on my machine, reverting back to Capture One 12 fixed the problem. This leads me to believe it's a bug in Capture One 20.

I’m having this issue too. I’m creating my own ad hoc network using OSX Catalina and capture one 20. Then I created a “test” sub folder in the default capture folder. That test folder became the new capture folder while testing the lighting, I also had some png files in the folder that was there for lighting reference. Capture Pilot was working perfectly enter capture coming in quickly.
I then changed to a new capture folder that also had the png reference file. I could see the reference png’s but I couldn’t see any of the camera raw files being captured.
I tried restarting the WiFi, the C1, then restarted the computer the iPad nothing worked. I could only see the reference files, but I could go back to the test folder and I could still see those raw files that were shot only 15 minutes before.
    I’m perplexed.

Has anyone on a Mac found a solution to this? Capture Pilot was working fine a couple of weeks ago. Now, we can shoot through it. But, we cannot see any of the images shot on the iPad.

We are running C1Pro 20 (13.1.4.15) on Mojave and Capture Pilot (whatever the current release is) on IOS 13.6

I had an issue with Capture Pilot not showing images in the "Capture Folder". It would show images in all the other default folders listed in the desktop software. I tried changing the capture folder, restarting the computer, tablet, etc. No help. Then I saved the capture folder as a Favorite and selected that. Now I see all the images in the capture folder. When saved as a Favorite the default "Capture Folder" is listed at the bottom of the menu as "Capture". Temp fix for buggy capture pilot... Hope this helps someone!!

Love to pay 50k for a camera and the software crashed and is buggy, after all these years.

    Found the solution.

You need to make a new capture folder (I just used capture_2 in the session folder) then move what you want capture pilot to see into that folder, make sure is selected in the folder under capture pilot module.
