"New project..." greyed out

I've just started using C1 20. For some reason I can't create a new project inside an existing group – when I select "New Inside ..." the "New project" option is greyed out. Also greyed out under the File > New Collection menu item. Yet I can create a new project when All Images or Recent Imports is selected and drag that new project to where I want it. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

  Please check again. You should be able to create a Project in an Album, Smart Album and Group. You can not create a Project inside another Project. That is by design.

  I did check again and the problem seems to be only with this particular group. It is definitely a group, not a project, that I'm trying to create the new project in, but for some reason with this group the 'New project' option remains greyed out, whereas in any of my other groups it is fine. Odd.

  You could create a Project elsewhere and drag it into the group and see what happens.
  
  Also, you could verify your catalog for any inconsistencies.
