Session in existing folder
Hello everyone,,
I already have NEFs files in a folder and like to create a session in that existing folder. P1 does not see the existing NEFs.
This procedure has worked fine through all previous versions of P1 except it broke on V8 and I had to fool it with an image in a dummy folder and then it would continue and read all the NEFs in the desired folder.
Rephrasing my question: How shall I start a new session without having to copy or import any NEFs? They are already in the folder? I am on Windows if it makes a difference.

Say your folder where you want the session is C:\Pictures\October. I assume that you mean that your images are already in that folder. So how about creating a new session in the October folder - with the usual Capture, Selects, Output and Trash structure. Then when the session has been created, go to the Library tool, find the October folder, right click and choose Set as Capture folder. Or create the session as before, then go to the October folder and just drag and drop all the images in it into the default Capture folder.
