3rd party lens with different mounts (Sigma)
I don't understand the list of recommended lens types:
I have a Canon 6D and a Sigma 12-24 DG HSM lens.
Capture One selects the profile "generic" and shows a list of recommended Sigma lenses:
- Sigma 10-20 Canon EF mount
- Sigma 17-50 Canon EF
- Sigma 17-70 Canon EF
- Sigma 18-35 Canon EF
- Sigma 18-200 Canon EF
- Sigma 18-250 Canon EF
What it does not show is the Sigma 12-24 DG HSM-II Nikon mount.
I agree that version I and II of this lens may be slightly differrent but to me it seems that this profile is the best choice. Results seem to be good. The type of mount should not be important for a 3rd party lens because optics are the same.
I have to scroll down through the whole list for every picture taken with this lens?
Is there a way to mark a lens type as a "recommended" one in case the automatic selection does not work?
